What to expect and what to prepare before commencing training with MMT.
Before your course
Planned training — enquiries welcome. MMT is preparing its RTO registration application. These proposed courses are subject to registration and scope approval. Dates and final enrolment arrangements will be confirmed before enrolments open.

What to bring
- Valid identification and enrolment confirmation.
- Relevant qualifications, certificates and medical evidence where required.
- Suitable work clothing, sturdy footwear, sun protection, drinking water and personal medication.
- For navigation studies: HB or 2B pencils, eraser, sharpener, calculator, compass and protractor. Confirm your course equipment list before purchasing.
Language, literacy, numeracy and digital capability
Students need skills appropriate to the course and its assessment requirements. Contact MMT before enrolment if you require clarification or support.
Unique Student Identifier
A USI is required for nationally recognised training and must be provided before a qualification or statement of attainment can be issued.
AMSA medical requirements
Students progressing toward Coxswain Grade 1 NC and Master <24m NC certification should confirm current AMSA medical and eyesight requirements.
